Bushcraft with Reach Outdoors
Join the outdoor experts from Reach Outdoors for a fun, hands-on 1-hour bushcraft adventure perfect for families with children aged 5 and up!
Young explorers will learn the basics of outdoor skills as they have a go at making a fire, build a simple shelter, and finish with the well-earned treat of toasting a marshmallow over the flames.
A safe, exciting introduction to the great outdoors that builds confidence, curiosity, and a love of nature.
Suitable for: Families with children aged 5 years+
Ticket Prices: £12 per person
- Children aged 5-11 years must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder at all times.
- Children aged 12 years+ do not required an accompanying adult. However, please ensure you supply contact information to the instructor at the start of the session and remain onsite/contactable at all times.
Places for this activity are limited to a maximum of 10 people, inclusive of accompanying adults. All attendees must purchase a ticket.

Location: The Bushcraft Centre in Bluebell Wood - Meet at the Bushcraft Meeting Point in Great Orchard (next to shower block)
Open to: Whitehill Country Park Guests and Leisure Club Members Only
This is an all-weather activity and takes place at our covered Bushcraft Centre in the Woods. To reach the Bushcraft Centre you will need to walk along rough woodland paths so please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather e.g. wellies, waterproofs.
