Kick back, have a laugh and find your rhythm in this fun, beginner-friendly country line dance class with Lucy!
Hoe Down Groove is all about easy-to-follow steps, great country tunes, and a relaxed indoor atmosphere where everyone is welcome — no experience needed. Along the way, you’ll get moving, boost your mood, and enjoy a light, feel-good workout without even thinking about it.
Whether it’s your first time dancing or you just fancy a feel-good groove, come along, join in, and enjoy a laid-back hoedown full of smiles, movement, and good vibes.
Class Details
Open to: All welcome
Suitable for: Beginners of all ages
You will need:
Comfortable clothing and footwear (cowboy boots optional!) and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
Location:
Whitehill Country Park – Wellness Studio
Arrival:
Please check in at Reception. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the start time to allow time for changing.
Important Health & Safety Information
Non-Members: Before booking, all non-members are required to carefully read the Exercise Readiness Questionnaire and complete the waiver.

The waiver will be emailed upon booking and must be completed before attending the session.

If you (or anyone in your party) answer “Yes” to any of the questions, please contact Reception or call 01803 782338 to speak with the Leisure Manager before booking, to confirm you are able to safely take part.
Leisure Club Members: You are not required to complete the waiver, but it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your health since completing your membership health screening questionnaire that may affect your participation in this session.
Please note: Participation in the session is only permitted once all required forms have been completed (for non-members) and any relevant health information has been disclosed.
