Surf Wood For Good Bellyboard Hire
Surf wood for good this summer! We’ve teamed up with Cornish Boardmaker Dick Pierce to offer wooden bellyboard rentals. As well as looking like the coolest kids on the beach, these are a positive alternative to the environmentally-toxic, polystyrene bodyboards that are so often discarded on beaches across the South West.
Our Whitehill branded belly boards are available to hire at a cost of £3 per day - £1 of which will go to support the work of ‘Surfers Against Sewage'.

Be Safe! Always bellyboard at a lifeguarded beach, between the red and yellow flags. Bellyboards are NOT floatation devices - always to be used by proficent swimmers and/or under adult supervision.
Our Rental Conditions
Bellyboards are available to rent per day. Pre-payment is required to to secure a board. We will require a returnable security deposit of £40 per board on collection from Reception -this is payable in cash (cashback is available in the shop).
If you wish to hire a board for consecutive days, please make sure you book each day individually to ensure we have availability.
Returning the Board
We kindly ask that all boards are returned to Reception by 7pm, or no later than 9am the following day. Beyond this time a £10 late fee may apply.
Non-return & damages
If the board is not returned, the full deposit will be retained. General wear and tear is expected, however if the board is damaged beyond further use or requires significant repairs, a percentage of the deposit will be retained to cover repair/replacement.
